Will 2 become 7?
Got an email today about the puppy situation. As you all know, we are taking care of two of a litter of 9, and the rest are spread out with other foster families who can bottle feed them every three hours. But today we got asked to take care of seven puppies + one mother with enough milk for three. Apparently they are being kept outside at their current home and it is just way to cold for puppies right now.
The foster agency sent the question to me, and I forwarded it to Jon at work. He replied and and said it would be up to me - it would be a lot of work, and it would mainly be mine because he is at work all day. He said he loves puppies, but it will be hard to have so many of them.
I said I would think about it for a couple of hours.
When he came home from work, he picked up the BB and Brownie and said "Oh, I wonder if the other puppies who have been with the mother are going to be bigger or smaller than these ones"? I said "Well, you talk as though I have already decided to take them!" He just looked at me and said "Come on. I know you are going to take them"
And of course he is right.
2 will become 7. I will keep you posted.
